Saylor & Santa

We took Saylor to go see Santa last weekend. She was a little nervous seeing the big guy. We took her over to him and she gave him a little "ho, ho, ho" in her cute little voice and he responded with his own belting "HO HO HO" which basically freaked her out. She wasn't about to sit with Santa on her own, so we all had to jump in the picture. Hopefully she won't be too traumatized for his visit next year!

It's a Sydney!

Its another girl! Here is little Sydney Rae at a whopping 9 ounces - just shy of a soda can. So far, she is doing very well - all seems to be normal. We are expecting her around May 13th and we can't wait!

Jerry "Seals" the Deal!

We are very excited and happy for Jamie's parents as they were finally sealed together in the Idaho Falls temple. In recent weeks, it has been exciting to see Jerry be ordained to the priesthood just after a few short decades of preparation (better late than never!) And as decades of family prayers were finally answered, Jerry received his endowments as he entered the temple for the first time this Saturday. Also that day, we were able to witness the crowning event: Barbara and Jerry in company of their children and family were sealed in the temple as husband and wife for all time and eternity. Jamie never thought she'd see this day, and I know she's not alone on that. We are very proud of Jerry and grateful for the great blessing this family has just received!

Thanksgiving

Okay, this is a little late... we forgot our camera on Thanksgiving, so we don't have many pictures. Here are some picutres that Trisha took and shared with us. If we had more pictures, they would just be of a lot of people stuffing their face with a lot of good food. We all gathered at the Bird home this year, ate, ate some more, scoped out deals for the next day, and then passed out. We hope everyone had a great holiday!
